ah Thiang says he wanted to go back to Jean Yip @ NEX for hair cut and see if there is any package he can sign up... so we met up at NEX after work.  While 'touring' around the building to find food, he spotted a stall located at basement 1 selling many many remote controls for all kind of home appliances and decided to buy a universal remote control for his aircon.  WOW, time has changed... they even have a device to detect the 'code' to preset the universal remote controller settings for customers!  My aunt told me now they even have universal remote car keys as well - now drivers don't have to spend hundred over dollars just to get a replacement remote car keys!

We had ramen at MEN-ICHI for dinner... food was so-so, this time the waitress did not offer to ask us if we wanted the free upgrade to a bigger portion of noddle... ah Thiang's eyes were simply glued onto his iPad!  Reading his "Ke-Nan" Japanese comic before and after food.... even in the salon!

He signed up the package costing him S$559 (OK, half of his iPad2 gone....) - here's the breakdown: S$68 (color+spa+cut)x5 times + S$21.90 (cut only)x10 times.  He is glad that he has a 'delegated hairdresser' to look for over the next 2years.  His hairdresser name was Wendy.  >_<"  I took the receipt and redeemed a NEX pillow cum blanket and a $10 NEX voucher.  :)
