Of Legoland Malaysia; 28-30 October 2016

03 November 2016

The time of the year when we go for our family get-away vacation!  Well, seemed like our trip was always planned around this period.  That's because it's ah Thiang's birthday season so it's double the reasons to go for a vacation!

Overall experiences;

dislikes:-
  • rides that are more interesting are mostly catered for aged 4 and above
  • theme park was a bit run down
  • theme park attendants always looked gloomy like you owe them money (same like HK Disneyland... unlike Disneyland back in the States, they were all so happy!)
likes:-
  • hotel deco always have some Lego corners to keep their guests entertained
  • Nat loves the hotel; (at the theme park, halfway through the rides) "I want to go back hotel sleep..." #thingsnathanielsays
  • Nat cries when I told him it's the last night of our stay in the LEGOLAND hotel; "I don't want to go back home, I want to stay in the hotel..." (and he started to whimp) #thingsnathanielsays
  • Nat grabs his last moments in the hotel play-area before departure back home; (dozing off after his milk at the lobby sofa, he suddenly woke up...) "Papa, I want to go play Lego..." (and he dashes off to the play area and looked like he has already taken his afternoon nap aka power nap...) #thingsnathanielsays

Day 1; Mandatory shot outside the LEGOLAND theme park!

It's the Halloween Brick-or-Treat!  We were given a stack of Lego blocks and give 1 to each monsters in exchange for treats.

Just checked-into the theme park and Mr Lego Monster is here to greet us! *rwarrrrr*

Looking very excited in all the rides that he can take!

Star Wars land that Papa and Nat enjoyed and stayed the longest!

Papa kept telling Nat that the uncle is sleeping... after shopping, walked past still tell him he's still sleeping... and they decided to take a photo together with the sleeping Lego-uncle. Nat loves his shopping trolley...  just within 15mins stepping into the Lego store, he has already changed countless times of trolley in different colors!

Say no more, we just love love love and major love the decorations in the LEGOLAND hotel room!  Perks of staying in the theme park hotels - we can go back hotel room to nap / rest (if the weather turns dark or raining) or even unload our shopping hauls and pop into the park again!

Day 2; LEGOLAND Water theme park - he's ready for a splashing good time!

He's indeed having a splashy good time!  #punintended

#familywefie in the wave pool!

He loves splashing the water!

He's mastering the skills of taking photos using the camera!  *nice right, so artistic*  #proudmom

I had specially requested for Mr Lego Chef to come back 2nd round for a photo shoot but Mr Junior Tan simply refuses to oblige... he's fussing as he had just poop-ed!  *their pasta was not too bad thou'*

Day 3; Thomas Town and Hello Kitty Land!

What's not posing with Mama's favourite characters?  *he's all smiling so sweet here...*  #heartmelts

*ps: entries updated as at Week 147/Week 148!
