Of ah Thiang's Birthday Celebrations!

ah Thiang turned 33YO yesterday!  We had 3 celebrations with the family and Yeos!  (hahaha, what's with all the number three's...?  he's 33, and we having 3 celebrations... not 33!  *pun intended*  ooooh, nevamind if you don't get it...)

Started the celebration over the weekend as his birthday falls on a Monday - So.  Deposited Baby N over at my Mom's place on Saturday so that we can have some lomantic time over the weekend...

We went for some massage in the afternoon then had the yummiest oysters and steak at Luke's with the Yeos (thanks for their treat, the bill amounted to $555.xx!) then followed by a late night movie date with "Dracula", just the two of us... the missus says this was an evil movie and she ain't interested.  Woke up early on Sunday to do housekeeping and run errands - collected our Hello Kitty Run pack, so looking forward to our first family run this weekend!  #hellokittyrun

Moving to week 42!

Last weekend brought baby N for a trial class for gifted babes programme together with baby Hamburger!  He seemed to quite enjoyed it... but on the downside, he is still too young to be told to follow instructions - like keeping away the toys after playing or nonetheless walking.  He still can't walk yet so Daddy has to carry him to dance or to follow the class... maybe when he is able to walk then we will consider sending him for the enrichment class... paid $58 for this trial class leh, ok lah at least now we know what does enrichment classes does!

Baby N's milestones from week 39 to week 41:

1. we took passport photos DIY-ly using iPhone and did minor photoshop and it worked!  The lady at ICA also say it's so surprisingly that babies can look into the camera and smile!  Now he can travel with us already!  (provided the 奶奶 approved of letting us bring him go JB lah...)
2. he tried to hold your hands to clap... (this little man wanted to show off and teach you how to clap!)
3. he can say "jiejie"... haha, not sure if he even knows what does that means!
4. he is still coughing now and then... so friend recommended us to try 小儿推拿 at Havelock Road and we tried for 2 sessions but we found it didn't really work so it could have been that the mucus drip backwards to the throat causing the irritation to cough or something else.  Gotten a referral letter from Polyclinic to KKH for a further assessment on the 14 November on whether it could be asthmatic or nose allergy - see how it goes.  *pray nothing goes wrong with my little boy*
5. he could pincer hold - picking up his own food or trying to feed himself using thumb and finger...
6. he can wave... sideways I called it.  So, maybe this doesn't count in the milestone!  Haha!
7. I see that his upper front right bud has a hole, maybe the tooth is coming out!
8. he now weighs 10.8kg!

#day275 - Daddy says this is how baby N looked like when he looses all his baby fats!  Poor boy has to tolerate these nonsenses actions from the Daddy.

 

 

#day275 - Exploring his new foot!  Wearing one of the loots sent from 大姨婆！ Now wearing size 5!!!

 

 

#day279 - New toy from Daddy.  He purposely go buy the same one as baby Hamburger because the last time we saw him enjoying the toy a lot at her house...!  :)

 

 

#day280 - Cheery baby clapping hands on our way for his 9-months baby growth assessment!  This is now his 拿手 skill!

 

 

#day281 - A day out at Sentosa - SEA Aquarium!  Attended Singpost Family Day with the family and nothing much there to do, so Uncle Eugene and family joined us to spend the rest of the afternoon at SEA Aquarium.

 

 

#day282 - Just caught me by surprise when I go check on him before I sleep... in this position - 连睡觉都在沉思！

 

 

#day284 - This was taken on the 2nd visit to the 小二推拿 and after that he was crying and fussing during the treatment process.  :(  Didn't see much of the effect, so not going back for the 3rd session.

 

 

#day285 - Daddy, mommy and son's wefie's time!

 

 

#day287 - Went to attend a family friend's 2nd baby's 1st YO party.  They hold the party under the block void deck and had this bouncing castle and balls pool.  So we thought this is a very good idea!  Since we already intend to book the 2 function rooms (basically the whole of level 2...) at baby Hamburger's condo... might as well bring up the whole "carnival" theme indoor there plus with air-con somemore!  Then forgo the "nautical" theme and dessert table, replace with bouncing castle, balls pool and maybe add popcorn/cotton candy counter and deco the photo wall with cake-related theme.  Giveaways with some cute helium balloons as door gifts instead of cookies or goodie bags and walaaaaaa, we are all done!  Hope this also goes as I plan...  *wink*  *must checkout cost first*

#day287 - Caught baby N snatching back his cereal puffs from baby Hamburger and gave that grouchy look when his plan fails!

 

 

#day287 - They made up after baby Hamburger let him kisses her fingers.  See that cheeky face of his?  Hahahahahaha!
