Wedding-errands-time; 买嫁妆咯！

Suppose to meet ah Thiang to shop the stuffs for 过大礼 over the weekend but he was down with some allergy over home-cooked lunch... brought him to Raffles Hospital for two injections and he stayed home to recoup for the rest of the day... so left my parents and I to do the shopping (rewind & fast forward >> both me and Moma have like less than 4hours of sleep after a 通宵 MJ session with Nigel, SF, Thomas and ah Thiang which ends at 6am in the same morning!!!  Both zonked out when we got home after all the shopping and I managed to clock a powerful 12hours of sleep before the next session with Moma and her future son & daughter-in-law the next day!  LOL)...

We went Chinatown Market and there was a handful of wedding shops but don't know why we only go to that two shops side-by-side (nearer to the CK departmental store).  I must say, their service level SUCKS big time!  All yaya-papaya and has the same certain level of attitudeness (wana buy, buy... no buy then nevermind attitude...)!  >_<"

Anyways, we didn't buy alot of stuffs... only bought major items like tea-set, lamps, 龙风烛 and the 彩头 (for the door)... since ah Thiang did not join us this trip, we will come back (going to other stores!!!) for better options to buy maybe perhaps after the parents-meets-parents session bah (see what can don't buy and whatelse must buy haven't buy)...  I was told 过大礼 stuffs are also part of my dowry too!

Meeting the HXDA & gang for lou hei tonight and jio-ing them back home to slash the Dragons with Moma!  She is so egg-citied and kept saying if we have more Dragon slayers to game, must prepare to "开桌"... if not, no enough space wor!  Muahahahaha...

For now, I need to get on with clearing some emails before I officially "开工" on 初八！:)

Absofreakinglutely wrong weekend to start spring cleaning my room.  I dread having to spring clean my room even though it's a-once-a-year affair!  Trying to multiply my time as when I am going through this process but thanks to Moma, spring cleaning is a breeze!  Moma with her 神奇手 helped me out half of the chores... and we are finally done with my room when the clock strikes 5.30pm!

Such a tiring Saturday > only spring-cleaned my room FYI...  But after the whole chores-affair, I slept super well... bascially worked all the way out to make sure my room is clean and spank for this CNY!  Looked what I have on my shelf displays....

Sunday!  We are scheduled to take family portrait with the folks!  And yes, this is our very first family photo shoot in studio!  Egg-cited!!!

We decided to have this shoot in-collaboration with my baby Bro's graduation from his Bachelor course from UOL (which he completed sometime back 2011 and since it is like a must-haves for such family portriat to be hung on the wall in every household whenever 家里出状元 right ~ so this tradition will follow in Lee Family too.... LOL!) and also, we should have a shot of 全家幅 before I married off in March... so here it is!  It will be ready by end February > in time for my wedding!  YAY!!!  Moma really enjoyed the photoshoot session... the photographer was all out to make her laugh (too bad I didn't take note the name of the photographer)...  :))

Imma cooking tonight!

Daddy came pick me from work... and I was homed by 5.35pm.  ++Cabby unca zoom zoom zoom++  This sudden rush came onto me that I must cook tonight.  So I wipped out two simple dishes while Daddy helped out with the frying of chicken wings.  Very simple affair, nothing hoooha but Moma was very pleased with dinner tonight...  :)

ah Thiang in green will be Jurong resident for next two freaking weeks and I will try to practise wipping up more home-cook dishes while he is not around...  #wifetobetraininginprogress

Almost end of first work week.  It's gona be another run-errands-time weekend again > buying CNY goodies, bak kuas and pressies for the families and it's two weeks to Chinese New Year!

The making of our Wedding Car!

We spent the whole afternoon making love, of our wedding car!  (thinking of something naughty...?)  ah Thiang 那不屈不铙的精神 took him only/about/around 6hours to complete building Lego VW Camper Van!  Kudos to ah Thiang!  ++KUDOS kudos kudos!!!++

Who say I no help?  I did.  I prepared the parts for each step in advance so that he only pick the lego parts for that particular step and concentrate assemble them instead of searching the many many little parts sorted out in many many containers.  I was also busying snapping the photos > this is also part of the process.  HEH!

Now need to make/get/steal/rob/find sponsor for an acrylic case to valet park our van!  Mui mui says it will cost about S$150 to make W24cm x H18cm x L31cm.  Right now, they have one cube sized 30cm (3-sides concealed, without the cover/base), the height seemed too 'tall' for parking leh... but it's FREE to us lah... how ar?

We will be "transporting" our wedding rings using this VW Camper Van during our ROM, exchanging of our rings instead of the usual yet boring ring pillow.  Stay tuned!

Ushering the New Year 2012!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

The Yeo's booked a 3D2N stay at Marina Mandarain Singapore for their 2nd Wedding Anniversary and invited us over for the New Year's Countdown!  We had a room view facing right at the MBS and floating platform, I must say the view was simply AWESOME.

They checked in on the 30th and ah Thiang jio-ed to go to the next happening clubbing event before we close Y2011.  And that is, Club98 > the 3-in-1 pub/disco/club at the hotel.  The club was operated in a Taiwanese-style, they have live-bands and all singers/bands/servers are mainly Taiwanese.  Hwang was pestered to buy a dozen of 'orange juice' from one of the servers who kept bugging him whole night!  ++TOTALLY CAN'T STAND HER!++  His damage was $72 and the Yeo's spent $20 on the 'flower' which was given to the singer as 'incentive' for his fantabulous singing.  LOL!

I went for a hair cut just before I met the Yeo's on NYE... and lady luck strike on me.  I won an instant $10 off my hair services and while dining at Tanwandang, I picked up another lucky draw and won a $50 voucher when we checked our bill.  LUCKY LUCKY!  After the dinner, the girls went back to the room for photo-taking of the awesome night view at the balcony and Yeo accompained ah Thiang to Somerset and buy the boardgame Munchkin in Deluxe version... (ya, he insisted in buying that for the evening in-room entertainment... afterall, we only played like 1 round and I got really sleepy and dooozy!).

We were busying seting up tripods and cam-whoring just before the clock strikes 12!  Hwang was stucked in the jam and came to the room with 2 more 神密家宾> Luther & LayCheng!  They appear only after the fireworks ended... LOL!  We poped a bottle of Bottega Gold Prosecco... took some group photos and had very nice cupcakes to end the night.  Road closure until 1.30am and there was no taxi available and we WALK all the way back home OKAY...

Well... that was all for 2011, now Goodbye and Welcoming to an Awesumpossum 2012!  This will be an egg-citing year for me because...  Imma moving on to the next stage of my life...  IMMA GETTING MARRIED! #fulfilling one of ah thiang's new years resolution!  ++HAHAHAHA!++
