Moma called me asking where I am at 1225hrs, then I repeated thrice loudly "I'm still in office.... wait for me..." then all I can hear is "har... LRT already ar, OKay we wait for you to come ar..." and she hanged up my call.  ++Shesh... Tai Seng station to Serangoon station where got LRT?!?++

Moma sent Grandpa for medical review and I am meeting the old folks for lunch at NEX!  His next medical review will be in 4 months time from today... cannot defer to 6 months unless his results are constantly good.

When I reached NEX, Grandma has already started her shopping... standing at the sale corner, trying a pair of red checker-ed open toes shoe size 37 - feels tight on her and abit 'cute' for her then she managed to find size 38 in brown and decided on the second pair.  But just when I was about to pay for it, Moma dug out another pair of of black covered shoes with some sequins design and she liked it so we bought the black instead... material is softer, slightly expandable than the brown checker-ed open toes shoe and looked so much comfy - 10 bucks!  ++Cheap sale indeed++

Moma likes Thai food... brought them to try Siam Kitchen set lunch...  After the lunch, they kept saying "好吃, 好吃".  :)

Weekend was great after recuperating from a bad flu on last Thursday.  Flu was so bad that I can't even feel my nose!  Decided to see the GP at the eleventh hour and had two dose of wonder pills... Fairy-tale ending: Sleeping Beauty woke up from a 13-hr complete knockout ~ Swee!

Friday (27 May 2011) was "Eat with your Family Day" and since I am still on medication, I did not go out and I had porridge for dinner with ah Thiang, popa and moma at home... This is so werid... My moma snatched my favourite seat at the dining table!  Pleaded her to change seats with me so that popa and myself can catch the glimpse of the drama but she insisted hogging the seat until I finished my dinner. She is neither normally seated at the hot spot nor fan of "爱"... till now I still have not found out the reason why... ++Strange++

Saturday (28 May 2011) - ah Thiang's big and small uncle was in town and whole family went airport to send off small uncle after the dinner.  Did some 7% GST-free shopping... total damage was closed to S$500 (including Crystal Jade set dinner at T2).

Sunday (29 May 2011) - met up the Yeo's at Takashimaya for additional 10% shopping spree and went Far East to collect ah Thiang's suit (gesh, alteration cost him S$95!)... no where to go and it was already kinda late for Tea & Cookies at 18C Holland Drive hence we headed to Ikea... this was the second time visiting the same store within the week!  After dinner at Anchorpoint, we went PS Cafe again...

Woooohoooo!  It's been more than 2 weeks since I last blog-ed.  I'll better write something while I was MIA-ed before June comes....

Been a very busy month for me... first was my 1st working trip to Malaysia for AUTOMEX 2011.... nothing fun, lose fair bit of sleep in a ulu ulu run down hotel (hello... 3 nights cannot sleep properly - no joke!).

After being back for a week to clear some outstanding paperworks.... I am off to Thailand, Bangkok for INTERMACH 2011.  Yes shopping shopping and more shopping!  But you are so so wrong (okay not wrong, a little bit wrong... I was there for work and 'run errands')... The hotel that I was put up at was great - Pathumwan Princess Hotel (just a link away to MBK) very convenience to shopping and more shopping!  It is also diagonally opposite to Siam Paragon... 15mins brisk walking... or pay 25baht one-way from BTS National Stadium will get you to Siam (one station away) in 5mins time... managed to get all 'shopping-lists' done within the first day I was there... ++Happy++ 

After first day was no joke... I was being attacked by a fleet of mos-ki-toes at the exhibition hall while we were trying to set up the booth!  It was such a HOT + HUMID + DRY + WARM day baking ourselves in a macro-wave and I was only the victim bitten by the mos-ki-toes leaving me unslightly marks on my beautiful legs (now still do!!!).

The rest of my stay in Bangkok was mainly shuffling from hotel - BITEC - hotel - MBK - hotel.  The shops in MBK close early... by the time we get changed for dinner after the exhibition, the shops started to pack up and by the time we finished our dinner, the shops are all closed.  I did not explore the street markets along Siam Square mainly I am too lazy or I have tons of outstanding to following up back in my room... You won't believe it... I did not even once go for a massage eventhough at BITEC they do have massage services located at basement 1!  But I did a pedicure on the 3rd day after my set up ended early.  :)

Yesterday Mr Yeo went to Funan buy wireless 'bridge'.... and ah Thiang, his friendly IT-consultant and I went down Funan and do some 'market research' for him before his purchase.  We had dinner at A-Roy Thai and it's been awhile since my last visit with some 'resellers' for business lunches... pricing is still on the high side.  Total bill coughed up to S$108++.  Their lemongrass salad is still fan-tabulous!  I think I had the most servings....

Dinner date was early and I'm homed by 9pm!  Finally able to trim my nails while I put on my mask (this time round, it only took me 30mins!  Normally it took me about an hour you know.... weeee~)  I also managed to do some toiletries packing for my trip next week.... it's such a BIG bag and took up at least 1/4 of my red spidey!  And not forgetting a HUGE package to handcarry to the sales agents in TH - look at the special handle.  *so innovative*
