OH, the clock just strike 12 and it's New Year's Eve!  Last blog post before ushering the new year - 2015!

Blog title says it all - 2014 周杰倫《魔天倫2》世界巡迴演唱會新加坡站!  I can finally hear my long time idol singing on the stage live!  All thanks to my dearly ah Thiang who camped whole morning with 3-4 devices just to log on to the website to purchase the tickets.  Even though it was not the Cat 1 tickets but I was very very very much appreciated that he made that extra mile for the hassles and made it to the concert with me!  Of course, what's new with him not complaining about Jay's singing, sound systems, speakers, design of the venue and what not...

Can only see my superstar using binoculars from where I seated so most pictures I took was from the screen off the stage.  I was expecting much newer songs from the recent albums but he sang most songs from the 1st half-decade's album...  Enuf said...  Pictures pictures!  Scroll down for his priceless expression... teehee!

It was an outdoor enclosed stadium and was quite humid with the on-going light rain... and he bought popcorns to keep himself entertained...

 

 

 

 

 

 

See see see... he was expression-less throughout the concert when everyone around him was so high singing along...!

 

 

The finale - the whole stadium was beautifully lighted up by those pink light-sticks!

 

 

It was pouring heavily!  Those seated nearby the 'hole' gotten some "blessings" from the rain too...  :(

Fasterly update my Christmas celebrations before 2015 comes!

Wasn't planned to have so many celebrations as I was due to fly to Italy for some training from 11-22 December... but long story short, I resigned on the 10th (for better career advancement...) therefore suddenly I have so much time to spend with my loved ones during this festive seasons!  Very happy!  (... that explains the many weeks of unemployment, idling around until my official start date on 2 January 2015!  heh heh heh!)

Moving to Week 52!

It's been almost a month since my last update for Nathaniel's growth... I'm in the mist of transiting into new employment (idling most of the days at home entertaining my little man...) hence the delay...  I hope to organize my time efficiently to keep this space updated when I'm back to the workforce (I need a more disciplined-work-area to update this space)...  #findingexcuses

Meanwhile, we are preparing for his BIG ONE and this is almost done - SIX more days!  WoooohoOooOoo!

Milestones from week 46 to week 51...

1. he makes "tak tak tak" sound using his tongue...
2. we have finally changed his baby car seat to the actual seat in the pram...
3. he will "umm..." in reply to you when you call out his name when he isn't looking at you...
4. he tries to jailbreak the cot by standing on the edge of the cot...
5. he still tries to seek your attention by putting his fingers into this mouth... deeper into this throat and makes that vomit sound... I tried to beat his hands but he like no feeling and continue to set on repeat mode until we carry him...
6. he starting to fuss a little here and there and cries a lot... it might be the cause of budding of new tooth from the top of his gums... saw bottom 3rd tooth on his right is out!
7. he baby-talks a lot...
8. he is able to crawl into yeh yen's room and crawl down the bed to get out of the room...
9. he now weighs 11.5KG...
10. he was christened (Infant baptism) today, on 28 December 2014...

 

#day322 - Typical baby seated on the pram with the legs up on the "guard"!  He keeps pulling his shoes/shocks whenever he remembers or sees them on his foot... normal to other babies too?

 

 

#day323 - Every week has new toy from Daddy.  Practicing slam dunk!

 

 

#day340 - Now trying to jailbreak by stepping on the cot edges!

#day357 - Counting down to his BIG ONE party in the next 6 days!  6... 5... 4... 3... 2... 1!

 

 

 

#day357 - Imma not the only one obsessed with this lil' man... I think he has a Facebook fan!  HAHA!  After I posted this photo, an ex-colleague of mine whatsapp me this, she's obsessed with his smile, his teeny weeny teeth and always looked happy...  #proudmama

Week 46!

GOSH, I kept telling everyone who've asked how old is baby N and I replied 11 months!  In actual, he's only 10 months.  >_<"  Last weekend attended baby Elly's 1YO birthday bash (ah Thiang is on the plane back from Beijing...) and SimCik kept carrying my son around boasting that baby N is a giant baby... so big size at the age of 10 months.  He's partly responsible also, because he is the official susu-supplier for him!  #boooo

Baby N's milestones from week 42 to week 45...

1. developed rashes both cheeks on 22 Oct and whole back, behind left ear, cheek and left forehead on 27 Oct both time subside the next day... but then it came back big red patches on his right face and small dots on his arms on 7 Nov.  Then brought him to see a PD at SBCC Tiong Bahru on 11 Nov - PD suspected eczema or maybe heat rash and asked me to make a food diary and monitor for 1 month and go back for review in Dec.  Bill amounted to S$209.60!!
2. sometimes he won't eat porridge and we have to use apple puree and mixed into the porridge to "bluff" him to have it eaten!
3. he can press the music player in the cot for some music...
4. he can say some words for now: nen nen, nai nai, bear, bas, bird, labbit, ellyphant, plane!
5. he knows how to 笑咪咪！
6. he knows how to 嘴突突 when he don't want / like something or not eating...
7. he can now waves bye-bye (sometimes in circular motion...)!
8. he can turn his hands like telling you "no more"...
9. he will try using me as a support to stand up on his own and let go of his hands but then shortly he sat back on his butt, on my bed of course...
10. last weigh him was at the PD, 11.23kg!

#day296 - Still in celebration with my in-laws (his folks)!  Total 2 cakes hokay...

 

 

#day296 - Then baby N developed some kind of rash that kept coming on and off... see that patches on his face and back of his body?  My poor boy...!

 

 

#day301 - 门牙出来咯！ Total teeth to-date: 3 on top and 2 bottom = 5 teeth!

 

 

#day302 - On Sunday morning.  I need god size bed!

 

 

#day302 - STILL smiling in his sleep!

 

 

#day302 - We collected the Vilac vintage car and Daddy bought + set up his rocking horse!  (... this was taken before Popa zng-ed his ride!)  See, here must wear some form of 'protection' to prevent his foot being "giap" by the stands...

 

 

#day309 - Baby N's rashes came back.  He was looking way worse than this picture - I took 2 days later after I got back from work trip from HK.  He looked like a mini 中无烟  but in child-version!

 

 

#day309 - The very potential accountant wannabe!

 

 

#day311 - Took childcare leave and bring him to see doc for his rashes.  Was having lunch and I has to keep feeding him with snacks so that he will not fuss around trying to eat the chairs and tables while we gulp down our lunch!

 

 

#day311 - FaceTime with Daddy while he is in Beijing for work!  Look at that funny faces anticipated during FaceTime!

 

 

#day313 - He likes what he sees!

 

 

#day315 - "Bang bang bang!" #thisiswhatmommydidwhilesonisnapping  At baby Elly's 1YO party and he finally knocked out after not taking his morning nap!  Then we were late to fetch Daddy from airport (ok lah, his aeroplane touched down earlier than expected)... :(

 

 

#day316 - Feeling stoked that his rocking horse is being zng-ed into Nathaniel-friendly mode by the 外公！

 

Looks like it's gonna be weeks again till my next update!  Boss asked me to go HK again for another week, scheduled just before my trip to Italy - that means I will be away from home for almost 3 weeks for month of December.  Left so little time with my baby boys during festive month and feeling uber guilty for being away from him for such a long time...  Tsk!

Hello Kitty Run 2014!

Crafting this long-due blog post for our 1st family run - Hello Kitty Run Singapore 2014!  ah Thiang is so so so kind to sign up for me (together with him of course) for this run!  简直是爱屋及乌嘛！

Together with ah Thiang, we celebrated Hello Kitty's 40th birthday celebration on 1st November at the Sentosa Gateway!  Her special guest appearance was Dear Daniel!  We sang birthday song and have this "cupcake cutting" session on the mini-staged before the flag off.  Of course, we didn't run lah... we took a LONG walk towards the Siloso beach and halfway through towards the finishing line, it started to pour heavily.  Luckily for us, we managed to finish the "walk" within 30mins after the flag off and gotten our medal collected in time before they were being snapped - ran out of stock!  *oh man*

I pity those parents with baby prams and little ones who were caught in the rain during the run!  Luckily for us, ah Thiang predicted that the weather will shower dogs and cats so at the last minute we decided not to bring baby N along... otherwise, we will all be drenched like wet ducklings!  Sometimes must really listen to ah Thiang de...

Of ah Thiang's Birthday Celebrations!

ah Thiang turned 33YO yesterday!  We had 3 celebrations with the family and Yeos!  (hahaha, what's with all the number three's...?  he's 33, and we having 3 celebrations... not 33!  *pun intended*  ooooh, nevamind if you don't get it...)

Started the celebration over the weekend as his birthday falls on a Monday - So.  Deposited Baby N over at my Mom's place on Saturday so that we can have some lomantic time over the weekend...

We went for some massage in the afternoon then had the yummiest oysters and steak at Luke's with the Yeos (thanks for their treat, the bill amounted to $555.xx!) then followed by a late night movie date with "Dracula", just the two of us... the missus says this was an evil movie and she ain't interested.  Woke up early on Sunday to do housekeeping and run errands - collected our Hello Kitty Run pack, so looking forward to our first family run this weekend!  #hellokittyrun
