Into 21 Weeks (2nd Trimester)

Today Gynae was early, clinic nurse rang us at 9.30am for my seventh appointment - week 21!  Ok, in fact I should be in my week 19/20+ (kinda lost count since the last detailed scan reported the baby's size is measured bigger than expected!).  Gynae explained probably due to my short menses cycle and ovulation period is earlier, hence that explained the earlier developement of the foetus...  Ok, I'm not sure if my explaination sounds correct but that's what I understood from my Gynae...  Today's bill; $53 ($35 fish oil and $18 utrogestan for standby of cramps)!

Baby N's head now measuring 5.15cm.  I think I should start measuring my weight and the growth of my waistline instead (so that I can rough guage how big Baby N has gown over for the past weeks!) since the ultrasound scan doesn't seemed to capture the full length view of him anymore!  :(  Bwahahahaha~

Mama-inlaw's Birthday!

Last Sunday, the family celebrated Mama-inlaw's birthday in advance at Peach Garden located at OCBC Tower - it's a celebration with a view!  The restaurant captain even sent us a complimentary plate of 寿桃！ Nice.

I am on MC today... having cramps for the last two days, seen the Gynae and had to be on Utrogestan for the next 10 days at least, to ease and relax the womb.  Can't help feeling worried, prayed that Baby N stays healthy in my tum tum for the next four months!

ah Thiang says eat healthily so that Baby N also stays healthy, so I made these...

Fourth batch of shipment arrived yesterday - hopefully this is the last second batch we are placing our orders!  Pending to finalize the rest of the bulky baby items so that we can order the final batch in the next months.  I only ordered my Hello Kitty Thermos food jar, the. rest. of. the. items. are. not. mine.  I repeat, not. mine.  HAHA!

Popa tongbang-ed his shoes from our order (SG retailers doesn't have stock for his sizes anymore), aunt wanted the same Hello Kitty food jar (SG retailing S$49.90 and we are only paying S$18 online!!!) as mine so I ordered two!  ah Thiang thinks his Baby N doesn't want to use Hello Kitty food jar so he ordered another one!  :(

Moma told me baby Bro was coming back for dinner at 7pm and after 7.30pm still no sight no sound of him and intolerance of his rubber timing, I decided to whatsapp him - below is our exchange of whatsapp messages!  Don't mess with hungry preggie - I can drown you with my saliva!  *evilgrin*

Third batch of shipment arrived yesterday but was too tired to go through and stock check the items at 1am so, we decided to do it today.

Part of the loot was shared among Jessica (her princess to be due for delivery in the next 3 weeks... whoop whoop whoop)!  Most of the items in her order are pink and girly... wooo, I loved the Hello Kitty pacifier, and aiming to exchange 1pcs of her Hello Kitty's limited edition swaddle with mine!  Hehe.  *her crew friend got it for her in LA... amazon selling like 3times the price of mine, you see liao also want de!  #doubleconfirm  #jellypreggie

My current bedtime read; What to expect when you're expecting, chapter 10 - The fifth month.

Took part in some lucky draw at blogger's site (thru Gerine's recommendation) and won a pair of free tickets to attend Rise & Shine's Parenting Talk on the 27th September 2013, 2.30-4pm!  The speaker of this workshop is nonetheless, Heidi Murkoff!  ah Thiang and I will take leave to attend this workshop and we hope to gain as much valuable information as possible to what is expected in the first years of parenting.  Yoohoooo!

Into 18 Weeks (2nd Trimester)

Today was at the Gynae's clinic for my sixth appointment - week 18+ (in fact!).  Results for triple blood test was 1 out of 2756 - the risk level, OK Gynae said it was very low low low risk... so we are safe!

Didn't able to "see" much from the ultrasound scan due to Baby N was quite active at the time we see him.  Maybe his papa did not nag at him enough to show us what he is capable of during the last scan - that's really caught us in surprise!  The scan resembled a little cocoon!  Gynae did not measure the size of his growth... only told us that his size, especially his head that is a bit big for a 18-week baby, maybe due to his head size measurement of 4.3cm bah...  I hope we can at least know how much he has grown inside my belly when we are scheduled for a detailed scan at TMC next week.

Pray that he will not be an oversize baby and I will have a smooth natural delivery in months to come!  :))

Baby bump fun shots taken the night before, not showing my belly... teehee!  I get higher chances of seats offered in the train rides when I am in this type of dressing (still not buying maternity wear yet - and I refused to!)... and mostly do not have offers when I am in my short skirts or jeggings.  I think I should start changing my style of dressing...  Boo!

Baby N is so so so fortunate (ok lah, we were once fortunate too... aunt Linda has been sending us gifts and toys from the states when we were kids too!).  Ever since the day I told aunt Linda on the gender of Baby N, she started shopping already!  Sending me photos of her buys almost everyday (since the day she learnt how to use watsapp - sucha great tools right?!?!).

We are scheduled for our 6th gyane visit this Wednesday and by then, we can confirm the gender once again before she starts her shopping at the outlets, and bring back all the stuffs in October when she makes her first round back before baby Bro's wedding (main purposes to spend some quality time with my Grandpa - pray everyday for him to stay strong and healthy to be able to carry/see Baby N and attend baby Bro's wedding in time!).  *prayformygrandpa*

Look, what she's got for Baby N - and this was mearly just shopping nearby her place and she hasn't hit the outlet malls yet!  Hopes she don't pamper too much super nice clothes on Baby N, otherwise I'll get jealous (why last time no have super nice clothing?!?!).  HEHE!

Finally we settled down on the Baby N's cot at the Takashimaya Baby Fair!  Quite hesitant to get white cot but neither the dark oak or the natural wood color 看的顺眼... so, we chose the white one.  Thank you aunt Joyce for this 厚礼!

Price comes with free 8-pcs bedding set, delivery & assembly and we top up $178 for better quality latex foam mattress!  Too happy!  :D

Second batch of shipment from Amazon.com has arrived - in less than a week from my first batch!  >_<"  ah Thiang's best buy was the thermometer, Singapore Watson was selling like $150 and online is only USD40.26!  We were playing the thermometer last night, checking one another's body temperature (of course main objective is to check if any defects on the quality lah, if not we have to do returns etc... very cumbersome one)!  Now, he is thinking or plan to buy those alcholol wipes, in-ear cap covers as refills...

His second favorite buy was the puppy.  I personally think it is ugly (I still prefers the sea horse lah!) - but he simply love it and thinks its more educational than my sea horse.  #meh.  And he asked if I am OK to let Livie play with it until the arrival of his child.  "of course (heartily!!! if not wait the battery deflated before his child can play in the next months...), please go ahead!"  Haha but shortly after he tested OK he kept back into the plastic bag and I asked why.  "aiyoh, wait she pull and broke the wires inside the puppy like the bear we got her, then no songs and lights then how?  I want this to be my child's first toy..." he replied.  "ok fine." I said.  So he gave me that 暧昧 look and packed the puppy back into the box.  #cantstand!
