Back-dated abit on my post of our trail to Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve on our National Day Holiday!
Nature reserve located in the Northwest area of Singapore. It is the first wetlands reserve to be gazetted in Singapore in the year 2002. It's global importance as a stop-over point for migratory birds was also recongised by the Wetlands International's inclusion of the reserve into the East Asian Australia Shorebird Site Network. The reserve, with an area of 130 hectares, was listed as an ASEAN Heritage Park in 2003.
It's really a long walk during the low-tide season... There is really nothing much to see other than mudskippers and mini-crabs so ah Thiang and Donald was joking that they would love to pay at least S$5 as entrance fee just to catch a glimpse of crocodiles or even python snakes in two-three years time - that's when IF they were to come back for the trail again... (btw, entrance fee to the reserve is S$1)!
The trio went to the airport to welcome Mrs Yeo who is flying home from her first buying trip to Bangkok! Flight touched down on time but the aircraft door doesn't open till 45mins later.... we were all stucked outside the arrival hall having kopi, burning our creative juices and created a mini-animation called "Bo Link" (meaning it doesn't link to any of scene/storyline) while waiting for the other trio to step out from the arrival hall. Haha, I tell you... this is hilarious! Nope. I'm not sharing... file too huge to upload... someother time perhaps. ++Hiak hiak hiak++
We also had an advance Birthday celebration for my lil Brother! Oh boy... time flies... he is already 27th years old (not lil anymore)... and this means I'm aging too... :( Daddy sponsored our crab feast and the Birthday boy received Polo Safari perfume from me and ah Thiang, a Cartier namecard holder from aunt and 3D2N stay at MBS from his darling as his Birthday presents! OOOH, the lovely cake is sponsored by Mommy of course! ++幸福的小孩++
